More dishwasher drama

I am so over this piece of crap. In the fall I was without it for 2 months while maintenance "waited on a part".
Well it started acting up again a couple of weeks ago. Sometimes it doesn't drain. Sometimes it doesn't clean anything. Sometimes the door to release the detergent tab doesn't open so again--doesn't clean anything. With the amount of cooking and baking I do I need a WORKING dishwasher.
The last time the management lady's boss responded to one of my emails saying that it had just been installed 2 or 3 years ago and I would be financially responsible if I had done something improper that caused the thing to break. Um. . . I WANT it to work. I'm not trying to do anything that would harm it. He included in the email that included washing pots and baking sheets as well as putting larger utensils like spatulas and whisks in with the silverware in an upright position. Um WHAT? I've been doing those things all of my adult life and it has never caused a dishwasher to self-destruct.
I started the thing this morning so things would be clean when I got back here after work. NOPE. So now I'm running it again.
Who knows how many times I will have to run it before stuff is clean? This is so annoying. I HATE hand-washing dishes.

Good luck! Tell them you are a part time culinary professional, and you need your dishwasher to work.

@NJChicaa I feel your pain. I can't stand hand washing dishes either..so time consuming, and they don't get as clean. Also, dishwashers are more environmentally friendly most hand washers don't seem to understand this.

That's why I use nothing except plastic silverware and paper plates.
