Evening meal

Here is the evening meal Yvonne and I had tonight
And a meal we really did enjoy
We had Steak Pie
And of course
Chips
With some peas, them is the green things on the plate
Home made Chips once again
Made by yours truly
A fine pie also, nicely filled
Nothing quite like a deep filled Pie to eat.

They are very green. Frozen peas.
I eat them first before the chips and then I eat the pie last.

Meat tastes so much better when it’s wrapped in pastry.
Chips look great again. Better than those skinny fries!
I had homemade spag bol. No pastry unfortunately but still tasty.

I think my chips are ok
Certainly better than the chip shop along the road who rely on salt and vinegar to add taste to the blandness of chips cooked on vegetable or sunflower oil, I use lard.

What sort of rice do you use for your risotto?
We never had Turkey at Xmas
