Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 13 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 34. Come on summer!
I have work today of course. It will be a busy day. I hope I get a coverage--we shall see. I don't have to worry about bringing lunch as today is the annual Souper Bowl fundraiser. Staff contributes soups, stews, etc. in crock pots as well as rolls, crackers, desserts, etc. For $5 you get lunch and the money goes to the memorial scholarship fund. Everyone always has fun.
After work I have 2 hours of tutoring. Woohoo! That's an extra $91. I'll take it. After that it is on to the weekend.

That’s quite a deal for $5. I wish I could try your Mac n Cheese because at my family’s last Christmas I had the best Mac N Cheese I’ve ever had. I’d like to try yours to compare because while I can’t imagine it tasting better, I think yours would.

Wow, 13°F sounds freezing, Jersey Shore is really not playing around with the weather. Come on, summer!
The Souper Bowl fundraiser sounds like so much fun. Good food for a good cause is always a win. Fingers crossed you get coverage and the day goes smoothly.
And nice on the tutoring after work, extra $91 going into the weekend is definitely something to celebrate.
As for me, just wrapping up some work and easing into weekend mode. Hope you have a great day!

Good morning. It is 41F in my part of Missouri this morning. Our high is predicted to reach 56F by this afternoon.
I am scheduled to go to the hospital this morning and have x-rays done of my head and nose because of the falls I've had lately. (I already told the nurse if she thinks she's going to find a brain in my head, she's mistaken. 
) My brother will pick us up around 9 am for that appointment.
Pretty asked me to slice a red onion and chop carrots for a stew. That's been cooking overnight. It really smells good but Pretty said it still isn't done. *shrug* She used beef roast in the stew and potatoes, too.
As far as I know, we don't have any other plans today.

I am so over this cold weather. Nothing ever goes on during the weekend unless cousin #3 comes to work. It will be quiet and lonely.
