Returned my new boots

The new UGG boots that I just purchased cost me $249.50 + tax; total somewhere in the $270 range. After trying them on it didn’t seem like they were very comfortable to walk in. Plus, the boots seemed hard to get into. I wasn’t a fan of the shoelaces either. And then I learned that the fur they had wasn’t real. Didn’t see that mentioned on the website when I bought them.
Decided it was best to return the boots. Went to Nordstrom yesterday to return them. I just gave them my order number and I will have a credit on my credit card for the full amount. Glad that I could just go to the store for a return without having to deal with shipping them back. And I will get my refund faster that way.
There is no store near me so had to go to Manhattan for the return. Didn’t mind the commute, minus having to carry the big box all the way to the store, which took probably close to two hours. Plus, I got myself out of the house, which was a good thing.

the fur should be real, sorry.

I felt that paying in the $270s for boots with fake fur was too much. Even if they were comfy I would have returned them anyway.

To have fake fur and pay that much for the boots didn’t seem worth it.

I found out about the fur not being real when I looked at the bottom of the shoe. There was a sticker there that said that.

@lovebuglena That's a weird place to put it.

@velvet53 it is. And it was only on one boot. I wonder why the website didn’t mention it.

I hate having to return stuff. It's just me. I find it a nuisance. I hope you find some boots you like better.

I hate returning stuff as well. That’s why I prefer to shop in store. You try on what you like and if it’s not a good fit you don’t buy it.
