In the dinner I had chicken curry with chapatis. Chicken curry is cooked with winter vegetables like carrots, potatoes and capsicum. That adds the taste. There are two types of chicken sold in bengal, the poultry chicken and the country chicken. The second variety is more tasty.

I always thought chicken just tasted like chicken...
We are eating beef stew with potatoes, red onions, carrots and green beans with seasonings cooked with them. YUM!

Most things taste like chicken. It was an ongoing joke with the late, great Terry Wogan.

@Orson_Kart I don't know who that is. And I enjoyed eating frog legs. They definitely taste just like chicken especially the way mom battered and fried them.

I went to the supermarket the other day and asked if they had any chickens going cheap. The assistant said no, they usually go cluck, you’re better off trying the pet shop.

I love chicken curry, in fact I’ll be having it tonight - chicken tikka masala. Very tasty, with a naan bread to capture the sauce. Delicious!
What’s the difference between poultry and country chicken?
