Good Evening 2/7/2026

I know I've been absent for the past week. I've been busy. I've been editing and revising Wilderness Challenge, the first in a four-part series. With AIs help, I figured out how to make a clean break between Wilderness Challenge and Wilderness Cry, the second book. I finished Wilderness Challenge yesterday. I tried to come here to see how you guys were doing to find the site unavailable. Today, I've been working on Wilderness Cry, a book I only had 5 full chapters finished and part of 6. After a long discussion with AI about how this book would play out, I now have the full arc for the book. Believe me, it won't be a small book. None of mine are. I feel like I accomplished something today, and Monday when I get back to my computer, I will once again be writing, not editing or revising. I'm in the middle of chapter 7. It might not even be the middle yet. So, other than working on Wilderness Challenge this past week, I haven't done much else. I did go to rock painting on Wednesdy and I played Canasta on Thursday. Otherwise, I was working on Wilderness Challenge. Next week and going forward, I'll be working on two books. Faith to Believe, which is now in the hands of a Beta reader. I hope to have it back before the end of the month so I can move forward to publishing it, and Wilderness Cry, a story that will keep you turning pages. They all do. Having Faith to Believe in the hands of a Beta reader also means I went to Writer's Guild on Tuesday. So, I wasn't exclusive to the computer this week, but it felt like it. Unfortunately my being here or on WordPress didn't happen, other than to post the Bible Study post there that I can't post here because it would be a duplicate post not allowed by myLot. So, what's new for you? I have missed you. However, when the brain is on fire, I must write. I also haven't slept more than a few hours a night, only long enough for my brain cells to recharge. I hope the threat for storm damage is over and everyone had their power restored from the 35 state storm from a week or so ago. My grandson was also without power in Nashville. So I was praying for him and others caught in that storm. Okay, that's been my week. You're up to date. How have you been? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

Yes, myLot has been "unavailable" for a lot of us the last few days. After being told it's unavailable several times, I find other things to do. *shrug* It does sound like you've been having fun. Nothing much going on here. Just happy to see you back again.

@just4him You did miss a little bit of my personal fun but it's not important, really. You're always welcome.

Then I didn't miss anything this week with it offline much of the week. Yes, I've been having fun. Writing is my life, literally. Thank you. I'm glad to be back even briefly.

You have been very busy and accomplished a lot. That is wonderful. I hope that you get a bunch more done cause it sounds like the light has been lit for you. It is sad that so many people are without electricity. I am praying for them also.

It’s nice to see you back. I’ve been having lots of trouble lately getting onto this site. Wishing you the best with your writing and love your rock. I’ve been including you in my prayers.

I've been OK. I found out I have to have 2 surgeries for kidney stones which wasn't a surprise; but I was still bummed about it. I hope you are having a good weekend.

I have gotten that unavailable message several times over the last few days! It's getting old!! I'm glad to hear you are doing well. Just staying busy here. We had an auction pick up Friday. Sat., I did a flea market run and hubby bought a new sub soiler for the tractor. And a little surprise thrown in. I'll post about that.

I did notice that you weren't around, figured you were busy with things outside of the internet. And that was the case.....sounds like a productive time, that's good. Not much going on here...
