Is anyone watching the Winter Olympics? :)

Or just saw an opening ceremony? I didn't expect Mariah Carey to sing there (spoiler alert, sorry).
I did watch it. I'm so glad that Laura Pausini, a singer from my youth sang the Italian national anthem. It's also interesting to have Winter Olympics again in Europe and in Italy, for the 3rd time in the history. So, Milan and Cortina will be very busy this time of year 
These are 25th WO in road and i hope your national teams will win as much as possible. As for the sports, i adored figure skating a lot and still like seeing it. It's kind of tricky for me to watch WO in general cause they are in the evening on the telly but, i think there will be reruns too.
P.s. The clip is in Italian cause there are so many ai videos on youtube. Sorry.

i didn't like her version at all. and, yes, she better sings in english, at least there are more emotions involved. o, yes, the crowds and later, a lot of garbage that people leave behind.

i've heard about american girl and read about female polish skater that was cut by other skater's blade while fast skating. winter sports are not a joke.

I used to love watching figure skating. It is such a beautiful sport! I’m definitely going to try to watch some of the Winter Olympics, but I’m not sure how much.
I did see the clip where American Lindsay Vonn had an absolutely terrible crash in downhill skiiing.

i am also watching on and off cause the clips here are mostly in the evening and sometimes i don't feel like watching that late. yes, figure skaters are really good. i saw one male figure skater and he looked and acted like he came straight from a fairy tale.
