It's a pity that you are not adventurous
It really is
Squid isn't weird, just horrible
Ostrich, it's awesome
There is an Ostrich farm near us and we bought some Ostrich Steaks there and they cooked up really well.

Yes they are but they need to be cooked rare.
Getting them just right in the middle wasn't easy.
And knowing what they go with is difficult.
I did chips lol

@traceyjayne Snake, but by mistake since it was on the menu as snack burger in India. I have a deep-seated fear and loathing of the said creature and when I discovered what my burger was made of I couldn’t wait for it to pass through me. Also had my brother’s pet rooster.

Nope I won't be adventurous with other exploring other foods. Some of them might not be good for me. Though most of us have different taste. We should know which food can be allergic to us.

An amusement park here sells jerky made from different animals. I've eaten kangaroo, emu, snake, buffalo, and tried squid. (I threw the squid up.) Oh, crocodile, both fresh and as jerky and also tried ostrich.

I'm definitely not adventurous when it comes to "weird" foods but I have had squid.

Sea cucumber maybe? or various insects like crickets?
Probably my least favourite that I've tried recently is Natto, Japanese fermented soybeans. Our lodgers are keen on this, having lived in Japan for a while. It's certainly an unique food, at least here. The flavour is not bad but the texture is weird and off-putting combination of sticky and slimy.

Calamari, escargot (like rubber bands), alligator and conch. That's about it.
