The crowd just wants to see the game

I often get ideas for discussions from other members and this time it Go Crossbones (@crossbones27) who brought to mind an incident that occurred with Vin and I were members of a brass band. Go Crossbones wrote about all the pre-match hype that takes places before the actual Super Bowl game.
We had travelled in a bus for a good few hours to be the pre-match entertainment before an Australian Rules football match. We did our marching routine up and down the middle of the oval. Our bandmaster was an old Navy bandsman and said you never march too near the crowd as you’re likely to get cans thrown at you.
We were near the end of our routine when there was a great roar from the crowd. We thought they were applauding us and were a bit surprised really, not to mention a bit chuffed. But then the real reason for the uproar appeared in the form of the two teams that were due to kick off.
The photo shows our band playing on the dock when Jon Sanders sailed in after his three non-stop solo circumnavigations.

Thank You miss Lady, I think our country is just tired of talking. but that was neat, thats very old school take, love, it. I can't say much more other than battle lines. My country needs to decide if it wants to be the United States our founding fathers intended.
