The Tarantella is a lively Italian folk dance known for its quick steps and flirtatious interactions between partners. The Tarantella originated in Southern Italy, particularly in regions like Calabria, Campania, and Sicily. It has deep roots in local culture, serving as a form of social bonding, folkloric theater, and even a healing ritual in some traditions. Typically performed by couples, the dance features light, rapid movements often accompanied by tambourines. The music is usually in a lively 6/8 time signature, enhancing the energetic feel of the performance.

@RasmaSandra - They played and danced for the foreign tourists who seemed to love. By the way the name Tarantella derives from "Taranta" a poisonous spider. When the spiders bites someone, this persons moves the same as the dance.
