Deputies in Virginia find a missing man

Halifax County Sheriff's Office deputies with their K9 dog in Virginia

Deputies with the Halifax County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) in Virginia answered an emergency call on Sunday afternoon when a 21 year old autistic man who went missing man from his home. The deputies who are Deputy Wilborne and his partner Deputy Clark with the HCSO assistance of their K9 dog named Phoebe searched in a wooded area and led to a powerline corridor found the missing man in less than two hours safe and sound. The missing man was returned to his family the same day. The family of the missing man are grateful that the deputies and their K9 dog found their missing relative safe and sound. Some autistic children, and even adults, have a tendency to wander off very easily and quickly. It was good that he was found safe.
