In Twin Falls (southeastern Idaho) a horned owl has been spotted trying to carry off someone's cat. A resident saw it take place on their Ring doorbell camera and reported on their neighborhood watch site. I see where a Horned Owl can carry a 5-pound dog. That's a sad story because I know from other stories what ends up happening to the aggressive animal in these stories and how people respond to stories like this one.

Somebody has a couple of dogs down our street that have been howling and barking all day... I would PAY a horned owl to carry them off!

@celticeagle I'm glad the new neighbors keep their dogs inside all the time. We can't even hear them barking. They put up a fence around their front yard. I've seen their little dogs out for potty breaks but they don't make any noise at all.

It was doing what an Owl will do. I hope they leave the Owls alone
