Chicken with Lemon & Herb rice

So, after my post earlier I decided to go with the lemon and herb rice.
Oh my days MyLotter friends, you certainly did make the right choice there.
Really delicious.
I will definitely be getting some more of that lemon and herb rice.
It went perfectly with the chicken.
Thank you again for your recommendation.

I ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast and just ate a hot turkey and cheese sandwich for late lunch. I laid down some Polish sausages to thaw in the fridge for dinner late tonight. I bought hotdog buns a couple of days ago and we'll make hotdogs with the Polish sausages. I like mine with ketchup and sweet pickle relish. I'll probably steam some veggies to go with the hotdogs.

@Traceyjayne I use mustard when I'm cooking roast beef or roast pork but don't like it otherwise.

@traceyjayne My wife is at a concert tonight in Belfast - Bay City Rollers tribute band (!!!) so me and the daughter had left overs that I froze a few days ago.

I loved the original Bay City Rollers ….i had tartan on my trousers and a scarf in the 70’s….and a jigsaw….

@Traceyjayne When you have as many gooseberries and similar fruits as I do, you look for all kinds of ways to use them! I can recommend it though... also lentil and rhubarb!

I like just about anything with lemon in it. I'm glad you took my advice and went for lemon and herb. (That's a joke). You'd probably already chosen and eaten before you saw my comment.

Tonight if cousin #3 shows up with her family, we will be having pizza. If she doesn't, I will be having my usual sandwich, chips and yogurt.
