Would you ever leave your pet tied up on your car roof to grab a coffee? I could never ever do this to my Danie and Yuki! I was with my brother in the parking lot when I heard a dog cry. I was shocked to see it was tied up on a car roof. Took a photo and posted it on Threads and two individuals who knew the owner left a comment politely. One said they had a cctv checking on the dog at all times and it was smiling! Huwhhhat? ??? The other lady said that the owner had to grab a coffee pretty quick and went back immediately when he heard his dog was crying! Their statements are inconsistent.

My fishies wouldn't enjoy being tied up, either. I would have called the police instead of posting about it.

No police would entertain you here with such a complaint. But if you post it online, animal advocates would see and they'd immediately do something about it.

@toniganzon Oh, I see. Here, the police would get the dog catcher or take the dog to the dog pound themselves and the guy who tied it to the roof of the car would get a ticket.

Yes and it's funny how the person told me they were monitoring the doggy through a cctv and it was smiling!

I would never tie my dog to the roof of my car. I would be so worried that poor dog would fall or jump off and strangle themselves. It only takes a minute for an accident to happen.

I don't think that is a very responsible thing to do. I certainly wouldn't do it to my pet.

For me as well. Even if it's just a few minutes. And even if you have cctv and keeping an eye on your dog. On top of a car roof is definitely a no no if you truly care for your dog.

That's what I thought. And one lady who left a comment on my post told me the dog is fine anyway and is safe.
