I went to Food Lion today to get fresh fruits and veggies and a roast for tomorrow..managing somehow not to die from sticker shock (I don't know how) I was getting ready to leave when I saw a fire truck from another county with its lights on. This place is close to the county border though.I thought maybe a heart attack in the pizza shop?It was where the girl scouts were selling cookies, you see where I am going with this don't you? Yep, they had drove down from the station in the truck to buy GS cookies. Your tax dollars at work folks..

I looked at small-ish roasts the other day, but I didn't have time to go to the bank for a loan for one....sheesh! Sticker shock is right! I see fire trucks sometimes in parades here, and we also have some that do back-ups for big accidents, etc. even when there is no fire, if all of the ambulances are busy in the area. Our firetrucks always have at least one paramedic.

It's unreal I saw a guy I know in the store. He was suggesting a boycott of the beef, Prices would probably lower in a day if everybody did it, but it would be practically impossible to get everybody on the same page.

@snowy22315 I have mostly been completely avoiding buying red meat at all. I buy ground turkey and it’s good and a lot cheaper.
