Chair dancing is an excellent way for seniors to stay active and enjoy movement. This low-impact exercise allows individuals to engage in fun dance routines while seated, making it accessible for those with mobility challenges. So those of you like me, who cannot move as swiftly now have no excuse not to dance.

Same as @DianneN I have seen those ones online. I like them a lot. Have tried to remember some and do them when I am setting and think of it. Every little bit helps I think.

@RasmaSandra That first song reminded me of my father. And don’t you dare fall on your face!

If I moved like that even in a chair, I'd fall right out of the chair. The chair I sit in when I'm cooking has arms I can hold onto so I don't get dizzy and fall out of it.

@RasmaSandra No music for me, thank you. But a strap around the back of the chair and around me might work. We'll see. Thanks.

@DaddyEvil just a suggestion: music on, strapped to chair, and away you go.

Al and I were in a chair yoga class in Ocala when we spent the winters there and it was lots of fun and pretty darn effective.
