Danie and Yuki are finally settling n our new home.
They seem to be happy where they are now as long I am here and Craig too. My sister has two big dogs. Alex, the German shepherd and Cola, the Doberman. Both are very friendly dogs.
Danie played with them, but not Yuki. Yuki, my lockdown baby, is scared of other dogs. Unlike her mom, Danie, a miss congeniality.
Photo is of Yuki taken years ago.

I'm glad they're settling in nicely. I hope you're also comfortable there. (I don't think I'd be happy moving in with relatives at my age, even if I do tell Pretty I can always go live with my brother when she makes me mad.

I have the second floor all to myself. My sister's on the ground floor and a bit far so we hardly see each other if we don't intend to. Danie and Yuki stays upstairs most of the time.

she is ok with them now. But she still prefers to go upstairs while Danie prefer to be downstairs. She has learned to go down the stairs today already because she wants to spend time with Alex. But she isn't allowed to go outside the house though because she would easily get dirty playing with them and she sleeps next to me.
I will allow her to play with the big dogs only when it's her bath day.

@LadyDuck For sure. The two of them finally learned to go up and down the stairs. Yuki would come down only if Alex isn't around. But Danie would come down when she sensed Alex is lurking at the front and back door.

@toniganzon - Better not to let her go out, she is shy and she will surely get dirty.

Yuki is a lockdown baby. Born during the lockdown period and we couldn't really get out of the house. Nobody was allowed to in this country. Only one person per household was allowed to and only to buy essentials. That lasted for a year. And the first time I brought Yuki out for a walk, she didn't even know how to. I made her follow her mom but it took her a few minutes to do so. She was shaking.
She's happy just being inside the house with her mom, Danie.

Thank you. Yuki is Danie's daughter. They are happy wherever I am. I can't imagine not having them with me at all.

Craig is adjusting fine. He will move to the condo in a couple of months. The fur babies will surely miss him.

Same here. And now they've learned to go up and down the stairs on their own.

OH yes they are. They sleep with me in the room. They couldn't sleep without being cuddled. Spoiled babies.

Yuki and Danie stays inside the house most of the time. The two dogs are outside in the yard, guarding the gate.

Yes, they seem to be happy where they are now. Danie learned to go down the stairs today. She didn't want to stay upstairs as she wanted to play with Alex, the German shepherd. She is not allowed to go out though, so being downstairs makes no difference.
