Fingernails....long or short?

Happy Wednesday Everyone! lightly raining here today but the snow is melting. I can actually see some green grass peeking out. I can't say for sure that this has been the worse winter ever but it certainly has been horrible. It's laundry day today and both the washer and dryer are going. I don't actually hate laundry days but it's certainly no fun. The actual chore of folding and putting away is just tedious. While I was busy with the laundry I snagged one of my fingernails and it split. My nails split so easily that it drives me crazy. My daughter got me some "Hard as Nails" nail cream which is supposed to help strengthen nails. I used it once and then forgot about it. So, I can't say that it works or doesn't Sometimes I don't know what's wrong with me. Do you have brittle or nails that split easily or do you have long beautifully manicured nails?

I used to have such long and pretty nails. Growing up, people asked if I got manicures, but it was just my natural nails. As my health declined, so did my nails. I keep them short now. It’s just more convenient.

I wonder if health or medications have an effect on nails. Mine have become so brittle and split so easily. I figured it was just old age and just something to deal with.

My nails grow well. I go through fazes, sometimes I like them longer and sometimes shorter.

My nails seem to break easily too. Drives me mad sometimes. I have had long and beautiful nails, at the moment they are short..

I've never had beautifully manicured nails but it just seems lately they're breaking so easily.

My nails are very thick and hardy. I keep them short so I can type.

I wish I had nails that weren't so easily split. I do keep them short to be able to type too

I keep mine pretty short. I don't polish them. They're moderately strong and don't split.

I have nails that go through a cycle. They are nice and just at the length I like for several months. Then they get snags and start to get a bit brittle. I know then that I need more gelatine. Jello and such help to strengthen them again.

I don’t mind folding and putting away laundry, but I despise ironing. I have medium length nails. Don’t like the claw like long ones . I have an appointment tomorrow for my eyebrows and mani/pedi. Perhaps a professional manicurist can help your brittle nails. There are so many great things they can do these days.

I have short nails. I always cut them when they get long or else I scratch my face while sleeping. It happened to me before.

I find putting clothes away to be tedious also. My nails are not that great.
