North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) Private First Class (PFC) Malcolm Kellogg received from his superiors the "Life Saving Award" on Wednesday morning at police headquarters for his actions of saving the life of a gunshot victim in a parking lot on Wednesday November 26 2025.
Officer Kellogg used a tourniquet on the leg of a shooting victim on his left leg before emergency responders came to take the shooting victim to a local hospital where the shooting victim made a complete recovery.
In my opinion Officer Kellogg deserved his life saving award.

I am so happy to see officers getting these awards. I think that in this time of such horror on the streets good officers need this positive reinforcement.

The Officer responded to the emergency well, and remained cool, and calm, and probably saved the victim's life here. Well, done, Officer Kellogg
