Another one / myLot

The hubster and I are listening to a Nora Roberts book. Yup. Hot nooky AND the main woman character is a Wonder Woman when it comes to renovating houses. The darned book has me itching to rip out my clumsy kitchen cabinets and while I am at it, hire somebody to apply stain to the wood paneling in my living room. And then..... rob another bank and put a wooden exterior door on the front porch. Thinking about this makes me want to quit listening to the silly book. Instead of contacting contractors and buying stain, I softened butter and made a batch of sugar cookies! I put some cinnamon in for fun. Hubby has kept busy asking for another cooky. I also made a simple batch of lentil and vegies soup for supper. Day before yesterday I made sweet yeast rolls. Keeping myself chunky is cheaper than redoing this house, it seems to me.

I keep drooling over those shower renovation commercials that come on TV. I may succumb to the pressure one of these days.

@snowy22315 We had a bathroom re-do a couple of years ago. The too low tub was hauled to the back garden and the moldy wall board removed, nice tile for a wall, new plastic shower floor. And there are two good and solid grab bars in the shower. Now if I had to, I could bump a walker over the low shower threshhold.
