Mine is someone I have talked about on here before..Freida McFadden. She is a best selling author who is also a doctor. She writes fictional crime novels. She also, depending on where the book takes place adds medical terminology or descriptions of what is happening as a doctor would. I like her stuff alot, it is fast paced, easy to follow and entertaining. Do you have a current favorite author?

I haven't been reading a lot lately but have enjoyed Jojo Moyes and Jodi Picoult.

I've read books by Freida McFadden but my "go to" author is always James Patterson. I just love his series and his main characters. I just head he's writing his next book with Viola Davis which looks like a good one.

I will have to look her up. I wonder what Kingsolver is writing these days?

I don't know of anything she wrote other than The Poisonwood Bible...I think was the name. She did write others for sure though.

If you like medical novels as I do, you would love Robin Cook...also a doctor. I also love Michael Crichton -- Jurassic Park, etc.

I've read Robin Cook. That's going in the way back machine. I read the Andomeda Strain way back when. I think that was Michael Crichton. That is one of the few Science Fiction books I ever read and liked.

Mine is Philip Lustre Jr. He is a veteran Filipino journalist, author, and political commentator with over 40 years of experience in the media industry. He is known for his extensive coverage of Philippine politics, the economy, and international relations. He is the author of the book "Kill, Kill, Kill" which is about the extrajudicial killings in the Philippines crimes against humanity.

Omg! I told you I was having my martini and you expect me to remember my favorite author right now? To be honest, I don’t have a favorite author anymore. I will read anything by anyone anytime.

I rarely read English literature. My native language is Hindi and many Hindi writers and poets are my favourite.

I like a Christian author named Jamie Lee Grey, though she isn't well known at all.
