I'm not a fan but I do like a couple of their tunes.

I LOVE and them, except when Brian Wilson and the group wouldn’t give Chuck Negron some help.

@rebelann I do not know where that person is from, but California, other than maybe Hotel of California does not brag or showcase the history of the state the way they should. I always go with this one. Punk was partially created from this among other places but its one of the only music that shows we looking at history to understand why we are the way we are. This song actually gets props in punk community where many of others do not. If that makes sense, people just want to understand the rules.

Sloop John B is from Bahamian folk music which Brian Wilson covered in a style that most of us find much more appealing. The first time I heard it I thought it was about a soldier stuck in Vietnam, boy was I wrong.

Same here. I like Good Vibrations but I do not live close to the ocean so a lot of what they sang about was a mystery to me plus it seemed to me that most of their songs were intended for men to listen to.

I had no idea you liked them as well. This is a really good song I agree but I have never been their fan
