The Gold Pig

Many moons ago, in fact, I don’t remember how many or where we were, but Martin and I went to a festival in a town in Latvia. Since between us my nickname was Ruksis or Piglet, I just had to have my photo taken by this giant gold pig. The dress I am wearing I bought in Riga, Latvia, in 1991 when Mom and I were just visiting relatives. It survived all my Riga years and still sits in my closet today. The orange cap is long gone.

@DianneN since my B-day is coming up so quickly, to be perfectly honest, when I think about it, the only real motivation I would have to leave my four walls would be Martin holding out his hand to pull me over the the other side.
