Petsitter for Shih Tzu

Do not be worried, guys! I do love petting baby or adult dogs. Since I moved to my younger sister's place, the deal has been on, and I am to be a sitter for my seven-year-old nephew and a four-month-old Shih Tzu. It is quite an adjustment, and I still miss my chihuahuas at my hometown. Soon, I will get them and be reunited. For now, I cannot take a picture of this adorable puppy, which was named Blippi. The reason is he is the camera-shy type. I will do it later after taking a bath and introduce him here. Do you like pet sitting? Do you prefer to raise a pet from being a baby rather than an adult one? Image Credit: encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com

I wondered if you realized that photo didn't have a puppy in it. And, I wondered where your babies went and if they are okay. I'm glad you'll get them soon. IF I could have furbabies, I'd want to get them as babies and raise them myself. Since we can't have furbabies, I just enjoy my fishies.

When I moved to my sister's place, I left my fur babies in the care of my younger brother in my hometown. I cannot bring them with me because it is not allowed to transport them by riding a bus. I am proud to say that I raised them and slept with them until they reached the adult stage. I remembered you had pet sharks before, right? If I am not mistaken.

We've done quite a bit of pet-sitting from time to time. Mostly it's a lot of fun.

I can agree more with you. In my family, we cannot live without any fur babies around. My father used to bring a lot of animals for me to take care of, such as chickens, wild pigs, turkeys, dogs, cats, etc. I am glad that my younger sister has one, so I can feel that I am still living in my hometown.

I’m sure you will love seeing yours dogs again. I look forward to the day you tell us you have. Most of my dogs I have raised from puppyhood, but my current dog, a Chihuahua, I adopted when she was four years old. While I think I prefer having them as a puppy, I can’t say I mind having an adult dog either.

I do agree that I can have an adult dog as my pet. But then, it is best if I can have them baby dogs to nurture and be trained by me. Either way, I can still have them in my life. I love my chihuahuas and hope to be reunited with them soon.

I only did pet sitting for the dog of my niece. I love cats more than dogs.

I also love whiskers and planned to have one before. But my adult chihuahuas seem so territorial and do not want to have a cat around.

@LadyDuck I agree. One of my grandmothers had this kind of bonding between a cat and a dog.

@Shavkat - Some cats and dogs get well along together, but not all of them.

I also love being around different kinds of animals, except for the dangerous ones, though.

@Shavkat I even like those. I don't need to pet them to enjoy them

The owner showed how caring she is. We can say a cat's motherly love.

Umm, not sure on that one. I think there are advantages and disadvantages to both. I like Shih Tzus a lot. If I ever get another dog, it will probably be a Shih Tzu or Maltese, although I am not sure either is in the cards. I prefer cats.

I think we are in the same boat. I noticed that baby chihuahua is more of a whiner than my younger sister's puppy. I guess it differs depending on which breed they have.

I remembered I have one whisker who loves seeing and being with me. I lost this black cat when we moved to another place. That is the sad part.

I petted a cat of my teacher 2 decades ago when she was in a week of vacation. I would like to pet a dog but it should be a small 1.

I also prefer to pet a small dog at present. I am done with the big ones.
