I am a bit later than I wanted to be coming on here today.
I went into town first thing and did a bit of shopping. I usually go to my Moms but she was going out with a neighbour. I am meeting her in town tomorrow for shopping then going back to hers for dinner.
When I got home I had two phone calls ….one from the pharmacy to say my prescription had arrived, and the second which was a message as it had gone straight to voice mail , from the Drs asking me to book an appointment to get my blood pressure checked.
So that meant another trip into town…..
Depending on what the Dr says I may not need the prescription.
Hey ho !

I hope your appointment goes well. Good luck!
Pretty made an appointment for me with our regular doctor last week. The appointment is coming up on the 3rd. We want to bring her up-to-date on the ER visit and let her check my vitals. I will also need a blood test to check my thyroid hormones. Pretty told me a couple of other things she wants to talk with the doctor about while we're there.

Thank you x I have been stressed so I don’t think the readings will be good.

@Traceyjayne You're welcome.
Sometimes that happens. Tell your hubby to stop harassing you and your BP might get lower.
My BP is ALWAYS high when I go to a doctor's office, no matter what the reading is when I'm home. My doctor always asks if I've kept track of my BP lately and wants to see the numbers. I keep track twice a day on my phone. She's usually pleased with the numbers but might ask what was happening if one or two reading were high. I've started writing what the problem was on the list for that day.

@DaddyEvil I don’t do mine every day …..if something is going on I know it’s going to be high so don’t check it. When I have an appointment I usually check it twice a day for two weeks . This appointment left me no time to check ….but I know it’s going to be high. I’ve been on this dosage for a couple of years …..I didn’t go to get it checked because of my arm ….

Hey ho
I hope your blood pressure is ok
Do you not just get messages and calls.from pharmacy's and doctors to your mobile so you can get them when out and about

The calls were to my mobile ….i was just home when they called. Don’t know why the Drs call went to voice mail.

Wishful thinking on my part. I was on tablets ….blood pressure ….and they doubled the dose. I may get away with dropping to half the dose ….back to the original dosage , but I have been checking and it’s still high so I doubt it.

Hope your blood pressure checks out okay. Mind is always higher when I go to the doctor so it's highly unlikely I'll ever be entirely off medication.

I usually check for a week maybe two before I go to the Drs but I got the message today and they got me an appointment for tomorrow so one days worth of checking won’t be much use. He/she will take it tomorrow and just have to work on that result. I doubt I will be off either ….much as I want to be….

Good luck with the doctor. Do you have far to travel to get to the doctor/shops/etc?

Not far to travel. Just about 7 minutes by bus and a 5 minute walk.

I hope your appointment goes well. I purchased Cancerguard and have an appointment with the home phlebotomist next week. It's nice that I don't have to go out.
