Had a Surprise Dinner

A friend of mine dropped by some popcorn (he finds this really good popcorn and always brings me two bags) when he got off work (he’s a radiologist). Tonight he said he had a big treat for me, and it was a chicken meal from a local Chinese restaurant. It was so good! I was pretty thankful for such a kind thought.
When is the last time you had a surprise guest?

That depends on what you consider a "surprise guest". If you just mean somebody stopping by the house, the construction guy came this afternoon to install the two new storm windows.
If you mean the last time a friend dropped by, that was probably several years ago. Usually people will call and ask if I feel up to guests and I turn them away. I don't need them bringing germs into the house for me to catch.

The last time was a long time ago when a close and dear friend we consider family decided to moved to Morocco. We thought we would never see them again unless we visit them in Morocco. But four years ago, he called me asking for the direction in the house coz he sent something for me. He said, his helper doesn't know where the exact location of my house is. So I heated at the front of our gate but a white SUV stopped and it was him and his wife, bearing a teapot and some other things for me from Morocco.
I was very sad when they left and I even cried because he told us he and his family were leaving for good.
