Why is nothing simple anymore? So, this one platform that I use all the time has been telling people for a while to use MFA multi factor authentication on the site. You know the kind online banking does, or Amazon..to help avoid hacking. So, I have been resisting this because I have not been hacked nor anyone else I have heard of, plus doing something like that can cause an issue itself.Well I found out several days ago, someone was hacked, on that site, and it has been a big mess straightening it out, plus it isn't like they are going to get their money back.
I decided I should probably use the MFA but the sites they recommended for doing it all have lower reviews on Google, with people having trouble using them..saying their pword was incorrect and all.
I finally found one that had a 4.6 rating..and you still have to download an QR code from one of the "bad apps." so I don't want to do that. Is the cure worth the punishment? I think I will just cash out always as soon as I am able on the site so a lot of money doesn't build up..and pray I am not hacked. I just am not trusting the MFA to work. What would you do?

Lol
Well to start with I wouldn't trust the ratings.
I would cash out when I was able to.
I wouldn't want it building up incase the site went bust owing me money

They aren't going to go bust believe me. They take in millions. It is a big time operation. Prolific..well known and well heeled.

You have to be awfully careful. I had to close an account recently because it got hacked, and I never even used it..I am not about to now!

@snowy22315 Yikes! It boggles the mind how hackers have nothing better to do. Be careful.

I always cash out everywhere as soon as I can. I also resist the MFA because it just is a mess.

Yeah, at this point, seems like the thing guaranteed to work..and if there is only a small amount of money in the account, I think it will be less likely to get hacked in the first place.

I don't know anything about what you're talking about. Guess it's better to cash out then let the money build up.

Hackers are technology expert. It's hest to secure your bank account for they could decipher your passwords.

Even if you didn't trust it to work right? That's my issue. it could backfire and not allow you into your account.
