Cover up decisions

Chlorinated pool water is not kind to swim wear. It fades garments and cauaes them to stretch.
So......about once a year I go online and look and examine and imagine what it would be like to be in the pool wearing this, that, or the other thing?
I am not young. I for sure am not a skinny stick. Some years ago I found out about tankinis. That means a woman wears a top and shorts. Sounds simple. Wish it was. No to ties on top or bottom- I am not going to fiddle with a string coming undone while I am kicking out my legs and arms. No to low tops that accent my boobs. I just want coverage without being a Granny Clampett. Sounds simple. Wish it was. I finally found something that doesn't appear to expose me and yet isn't a blanket. No made well enough tankini outfit is very budget friendly. I over heard a lady in the locker room say she was wearing a swimsuit that she'd bought through Temu. Cheap price. I heard the worry in her voice when she said it was "awfully thin." Yikes! is what I was thinking. Just no thanks.

@Tampa_girl7 Just so long as the suit doesn't fall down when I'm exercising.

Tankinus are good choices I bought mine aways back, but I think that is what it is..looks good without exposing too much or covering too much.I also like that is two piece so no gymnastics have to be performed when you using the bathroom

Guys don't have that problem. But Pretty and I haven't been swimming in ages, either.

@sallypup I wore speedos when I was a bodybuilder but would wear regular swim trunks now if we went swimming. And yes, I'd need a belly covering now, too.

@DaddyEvil The guys have interesting styles to wear, too. Many of the older guys could use belly covers if there ever is such a thing.

@DaddyEvil The idea reminds me of Seinfeld episodes.

The favorite suit of the ladies where I used to take water exercises was from an online brand called Swim and Sweat. The suits made of Krinkle fabric are nice and heavy, chlorine resistant, and come in a variety of styles. Even a tankini two piece. When they run their sales the suits are or were $50 then add shipping and handling. Very functional suits.

I think I will stick to swimming in the sea when we are on holiday
I blend in well with large dolphins
No chlorine to worry about
Yvonne wears a one piece bathing suit she has had for years and years. Navy blue, covers the lot lol.

Oh we go to see them dolphins every year and have done for years
Swimming in the sea is what I grew up doing
I love a hot sunny day, a sandy beach, and swimming in the sea
I go out far enough so if the dolphins swim past I can see them
