I ain’t as good as I once was (or am I?)

I had this blueberry goat cheese once when I was with my late grandmother, maybe fifteen years ago. We had talked about neither of us had tried goat cheese. We saw this blueberry goat cheese, and gave it a go. It was absolutely delicious. I never bought it because it wasn’t practical, but I saw this on sale and bought it when I ordered groceries. It’s just as good as I remember. Do things you liked years ago still taste good to you even though so much time has gone by?

I love goat cheese. Although I haven’t found many cheeses I don’t like. Yes. There are a few things I grew up eating that I’ve gotten on Amazon to try to make sure I still like them. And I have been right about still liking them.

It’s nice when they don’t mess with the recipe.

You are giving me a yen for blueberry goat cheese...yummy on a bagel. Not usually, because some genius usually decides to change the formul a long the way.

Just a few days ago I mentioned to our maid how the taste of this particular malt drink I used to enjoy with my dad was so different than the ones my son shares with me. Same brand, but the quality is no longer the same. Can't blame the company since they've been trying so hard to make it as affordable to the masses as they could.

Yes, I still love things like watermelon and fried potatoes after all these years…I just don’t use much oil in the potatoes anymore.

Actually when I returned from Latvia many of the things I used to like I no longer did because I had to get used to American products again,

Very often when you buy something for nostalgic reasons they hardly ever seem as good. Is it the memory that got muddled in time, or a difference in recipe , who knows. I’m pleased that this wasn’t because for you though. I like goats cheese but I’ve never had it with blueberries.

I used to like to eat donuts a lot when I was younger even though I have to cut back on eating them due to fear of getting diabetes.
