Another month. Goals? Looking toward warmer weather. Looking at the pinky blooms on my currant shrubs.
Yesterday the electric Weeder arrived. Oh so long and big! Intimidating. Hubby had quite the time getting its hand rest on. Next up is putting the shield on. Tomorrow we might have sun and enough warmth to dry the truant patch of quack grass that looks pretty awful. I am taking on the challenge of lugging the monster outside and trying to tame some of the green mess.
Today I walked around the block with Rufus. Some idjits have been dumping litter right behind our property. I picked up two pieces while I watched a bumblebee dancing among dandelion blooms.
I hope everyone has a good day or evening.

If I was there
I would help you out by taking Rufus for a walk every day.
I would enjoy doing that
How does an electric weeder work Lenore?

@Ineeddentures You must have seen one of those long gas powered weed whackers? Mine is the same but just no gas or oil to mess with. And its battery powered so no cord to drag around. It's long so taking it out to the property has been interesting- getting the weight of it. It weighs just a couple of pounds but feels heavier.

@sallypup
I think I will pass on anything like that
Weeds are wild flowers waiting to happen and mine are all contained within the garden fence Lenore.
Dandelion is my favourite weed

@Ineeddentures I have spots of unruly quack grass that could use a trimming.

You should put a camera back there so you can see who is littering. The police MIGHT act if you have proof.
I'm sure Rufus enjoyed the walk with you.
I hope you have a wonderful day, too.

@DaddyEvil Police won't do anything. There is a group of dedicated retired folks here that pick up litter.

@sallypup That's too bad. I'm glad they gather trash while out exercising.

You're hubby seems like one of the least disabled blind people out there except for maybe the blind skiers. Enjoy the up coming spring.

@snowy22315 Thanks. In his youth, hubby did mostly what he wanted to do. He's built a donkey shed, chicken coops, built fences. I miss his ability to get out and do.

How annoying that someone is littering your property.
