It's March and Monday

Happy Monday Everyone! it's mostly sunny here this morning and looks like we're heading toward some nice spring temperatures by the weekend. I can only hope I certainly won't be sorry to see winter leave but I know we can still have winter weather in March. The weekend came and went in the blink of an eye (as they always do). I finally got out of the house and enjoyed some shopping at Target. I haven't been there in ages and I like it so much better than Walmart. We also got our grocery shopping done and found some good sales at our local supermarket. I can't believe how much mayonnaise has gone up in price. I only like Hellmann's (yes I'm a brand snob when it comes to mayonnaise) but I had a dollar off coupon Yesterday we went to my older daughters for dinner. My son in law grilled some london broils and dinner was delcious. My grandson was home from college for the weekend and he left after dinner to go back. It was really nice to see him. And now, here we are, Monday morning and I'm having my coffee. How was your weekend?

Bird flu is making the rounds again, killing off 7.2 million laying hens in the past month in Pennsylvania alone causing egg prices to rise again. They lost and equal number of young fryers in the same amount of time. We're having rain and storms every day this week. Thankfully, most of it is a slow rain that soaks into the ground instead of running off. Pretty and I went out to eat burgers yesterday. We couldn't either one finish our burgers and Cheddar Bites that came with the sandwiches. I still have half of my burger in the fridge. With it raining and storming, we didn't get out much. I did drive to the local Sonic when Pretty offered to buy lunch yesterday. Luckily, it wasn't raining at the time.

I think we're getting all the rain you have now in the upcoming days. Doesn't look nice until the weekend. I'm glad you could see well enough to drive and enjoy your burgers. Our Sonic closed I did see all that about Bird Flu. It's crazy

Definitely sounds like you had a good weekend. Glad you got to see your daughter and grandson. I had a good weekend. Just chilling with the family. Today it's back at work. Thankfully I'm working from home, but there's been a lot going on.

I’m so glad you got to see your grandson! Dinner sounds delicious too. My weekend was very pleasant. I was supposed to spend yesterday with my best friend, but that was okay. It didn’t work out. My main celebration was Saturday anyway.

I was so happy to see my grandson. I really miss him since he's been away at college. He used to spend so much time here and I could always depend on him for anything I needed help with. Sorry your plans with your friend didn't work out.

I had some good rest on the weekend. Had some running here and there in Saturday. Plus some additional official work on the weekends. Still it went fine. Some of the things really pinch at the Grocery shops but coupons can really help. A lot of updates from your side. Enjoy the Coffee !!

I was due for a busy weekend. I was starting to feel like a hermit. Hellmans for mayo and Heinz for Ketchup (my 2 brands) I'm glad you finally got to see your friend in rehad. Hope he was happy to see you

Happy Monday Marilyn Winter is fairly dragging its heels but I hope you don't get any more winter now The weekend went quickly here as well, too quickly. Hellman's expensive there as well, lol Our weekend was ok Never did much Still a bit too cold for Yvonne to go out
