Still haven't seen the hematologist

It is almost 3:30pm and he hasn't been by. I figure if I don't see him by 5 I won't see him until tomorrow. That's what happened the last time. And after the overnight drop in platelets and the transfusion he will likely want to monitor where they are now and where they are tomorrow. Sooooo I'm not expecting to be at work tomorrow. It isn't ideal but its not like I'm just blowing it off. The principals and supervisor know why I'm not there. They are the ones who made me go to the hospital and even drove me there. Hey he may surprise me and still make an appearance but I'm not holding out hope. My ex said he would pick me up and take me to the apartment if I was discharged tonight. I told him I would let him know in a couple of hours.
