Wheee! I did my dishes this morning!

I derived pleasure from a small accomplishment. This morning I put my dishes in the washing machine and pressed "play." Or whatever. I think my dishes may be done Do you derive pleasure from small accomplishments?

I bought a new dishwasher because my mom chose to renovate the kitchen and we had to get all new appliances. Waste of money that was as I never use it.

@Ineeddentures Because a house must have a dishwasher and my mom wasn’t gonna pay for it. Though she was the one that decided to renovate the kitchen, not us. Appliances were old.

I feel a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment when I wash my dishes after dinner and the kitchen is decluttered and clean.

I always feel a weird sense of accomplishment when I take my trash out. Maybe it’s the stupid flights of stairs that make it seem like such a big deal.

It still strikes me as funny that we have to essentially wash our dishes (by hand) before we put them in the dishwasher. But oh well.
