Good Evening - What I'm Thankful for Today - 5 March

It's been a wonderful day. It wasn't as warm as yesterday, only in the 40s instead of the 50s. Green Bay in March is a cold and warm month. The saying - In like a lion out like a lamb and in like a lamb out like a lion suits Wisconsin well. We came into the month with lamb like weather - warmer temps. Next week, it gets cold again.
I started the day at 3:30 this morning. I had the laundry in the washer by four. I still need to fold it. At least I have clean clothes.
I'm thankful for my chiropractor appointment this morning. I really needed the tuneup. I also need to start walking more. Before the walker, I walked all the time. Now, I barely walk, though I manage to get my steps.
I'm thankful for Canasta today. The first game was interesting and thankfully only lasted one hand. We played three-handed. Then a fourth joined us and we played teams. My partner and me lost the first game by a lot. We won the second game by a narrow margin. It was a lot of fun as always.
I'm thankful I could spend some time here with you to see what you're doing. I didn't get the notifications done. Hopefully, I can do that tomorrow. We'll see. I'm shopping in the morning.
I'm thankful for the work I did on More Than a Conqueror. I looked to see if I was ready to work again on Wilderness Cry, but not yet.
I'm thankful for the nap I got this morning. I was falling asleep on the computer, so I thought it was a good idea to take a nap. I got about an hour.
I'm thankful I sold a book to one of the residents here. That made my day.
I'm thankful I have someone to proof my book, Guns of War. The last book I needed a proofreader for. Now, I can see getting the four books published this year as I wanted. I'm going to get Firestorm back. The person who said she wanted to proof it has had it since November and hasn't started proofing it. I'll find someone else for that book so I can publish it next year.
I'm thankful for the two pounds I lost following a new plan that works for me. 90% protein, cutting out carbs as much as possible as they go against me. I'll be talking to my doctor about my weight this month for my wellness visit.
Okay, that's it for today. It was a full day. Not much time on the computer other than getting Guns of War printed up and into my friend's hands to proof for me. Her sister will also work with her. She told me she can have it back to me in two weeks. It will be interesting to see which book will be published next.
What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

I would want a nap also if I had to get up at 330. I'm glad you got one.

You look so happy. Your apartment brings back memories of the one my Mom lived in for quite a few years. I'm grateful my cat Beau Teak's heart meds arrived from Chewy four days ahead of when he would be out.
