When i was a young girl living at my grandparents we didn't go see a doctor for every little thing. Unless it was serious enough to need penicillin Grama took care of us. Nowadays people lean on their doctors way too much.
I have decided to wait until the doctor is out again March 19th. Unless my breathing gets real bad I think I will be fine. Whatever this is how I feel has become the norm, and I feel I have lived with feeling sickly this long I can wait a little longer.
I'm sure some of you will disagree but such is life.

That's your decision. I hope it's a good one.

However, since you mentioned your breathing and feeling "sickly" for a long time, I have to be the supportive-but-honest friend here: breathing isn't usually in the "wait it out" category.

That was a one-day occurrence where I couldn't breathe well.

Having doctors and nurses in the family, we were discouraged to take any herbal medicines or to self medicate.

@celticeagle Yes. Because when people take herbal medicine, their blood became thinner and when an emergency needs to be performed and the doctors are unaware, it could be a big problem. AT least that's what the doctor told me as several incidents like that happened here.

Yes, indeed. I think doctors have their place, but we don't always have to go to the doctor for every ailment.

i'm from the countryside and i remember we all shared similar mindset that we shouldn't see the doctor if it wasn't really neccessary so, i get you.

@celticeagle welcome. also, our doctors also behaved in a similar way; i remmber i coughed like crazy but my doctor said she couldn't prescribe me any antibiotics. she didn't say why and it madde me mad but, later, it helped me and i felt good.
