They are back

So there I am in the bathroom and I hear what seems like a rustling sound. I look at the bag on the sink that has pine cones in it and some other things and see nothing. Look at the small garbage can by the toilet and see nothing. Look around the floor and see nothing.
Go check the two bedrooms but hear nothing there so the sound must be coming from the bathroom. Decide to look into the bathtub, which I haven’t looked at before, and that’s when I see something black sitting on the bottom. I start to panic and run out of the bathroom, closing the door behind me, hoping it won’t escape. I couldn’t get a good look at it as I ran out quick but it’s probably a wasp.
I call my mother crying, hysterical. Unfortunately, she cannot come to my rescue until her friend finishes his errands and then picks her up and they come here to kill that thing for me, whatever it is. I’ll have to wait a few hours.
She told me to get dressed and just go outside for a walk while I wait. I can’t do that until I brush my teeth and wash up, but I do that in the bathroom where the wasp is. I’m afraid to open the door to grab my toothbrush and toothpaste and whatever else I need to wash up so I can do that in a different bathroom.
I have a phobia of bees, wasps, etc. When I see them I run away. I can’t just approach one and kill it. And that’s a big problem because if it’s at home there’s no one here to get rid of it for me. My mom can’t always come to my rescue. And her friend is gonna move away soon to a different state so he won’t be able to help me either.
I can’t just run away from the house whenever one appears. And I can’t just stay away from the bathroom or whatever room it’s in hoping that it’ll disappear because it won’t unless somebody kills it. I don’t know what to do.
They say to get rid of the fear you have to face it head on, which would mean approaching the thing and trying to kill it myself, but I can’t do that because I’m afraid to come near it.

Damn it! It’s not even spring yet and they are here. How the heck do they get inside the damn house?

It sounds like you need to set up another bathroom with the things you'll need if you leave the house so a bug/wasp/bee can't trap your stuff like that again.
Pretty is scared of bugs and spiders in the house but has no problem with them outside. She always yells for me to come kill whatever she found.

If only I was able to approach one and smack it, it would make things a lot easier for me. My mom is afraid of them as well, but at least she can come near one and kill it.
Maybe if I hadn’t closed the bathroom door, I’d be able to run quickly into the bathroom and grab my stuff. But now that the door is closed I’m afraid to open it.

@lovebuglena What I'm talking about doesn't kill. It just makes them unable to function. The bees/wasps fall out of the air and just wriggle on the ground or floor until they can get out of the direct "beam" of the electronic device. You have to step on them or swat them with a flyswatter while they're wriggling on the floor to kill them. It keeps them from flying or walking away.
We have several of them packed away somewhere. We haven't needed one since we moved into this house 9 years ago so I don't know where we packed them away.

@DaddyEvil outside my husband used to hang something (forget its name) that they fly into and then they can’t get out and I guess they end up dying there.

I found another bug. It’s on the living room window. I’m not sure if it’s a ladybug or something similar. But it flies. I would attempt to kill this one except it’s at the top of the window. I’m waiting for it to hopefully come down to the bottom so I can lift the blinds and try to smack it.

I couldn’t go back to the bathroom for my stuff so I couldn’t go anywhere. Just sat in the living room and waited for my mom.

I'm sorry you have such a phobia about them. I hope your mother was able to come and kill it for you.

Thank you. Yes, she was able to kill it. However, when she tried to pick it up, it wasn’t there. She’s not tall enough, even on the step ladder, so she can’t see where it is. Hopefully there is no opening that it fell into.
When she came, the thing was not in the bathtub anymore. It was high up on the wall where the tile ends and regular wall continues.
