I am sorry...

We were laughing and joking and Dad said, I like that bike. To which I responded, you don't look good in it, it's not for you. Dad never liked motorbikes and he would never ever ride one. But in this dream of mine, he was pointing to one. Then out of the blue he uttered, "I am sorry." I woke up crying loudly. What was he apologizing for? Was he sorry that he and mom passed away when we were still all very young? Was he sorry that me and my siblings weren't getting along well? I had this dream last year and it took me weeks to recover from it. Everyday for weeks, I would cry thinking of my dearly departed father. Whenever I remember that dream, tears welled up in my eyes.

Omg I don't know what to say. What was he saying sorry for? Only you can work that out. Do you think that you will have the dream again soon?

@toniganzon I keep having a really interesting dream just now It's not my fault. Someone made a suggestion to me and I thought they were joking, and it turns out they were not joking

Sometimes there is not a reason why we dream our deceased beloved parents saying something we do not understand.

@LadyDuck The change must come from him. Otherwise, nothing is going to happen.

Maybe it had something to do with why he was pointing at the bike. Have you done any research into dreams? Maybe that would help understand and recover from them better.

We never can know the reason we dream certain things. I'm sorry that happened.

I’m so sorry you had such a dream. Unfortunately, we usually don’t know why we have the dreams we have.

Right and I don't really look into why we dream what we dream. I just let it pass.

I'm so sorry the dream upset you. I dream about my husband once and a while. Sometimes they're good...sometimes they're bad.

It felt so real and I missed my dad so much. HIs face was still the same when he was still 45. Nothing changed. I just wish I could hug him again.
