I hope your day is going well. It is 76 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. This is my idea of winter weather! Yes I'm still alive and kicking. I've been dealing with some serious health issues since my hospitalization last Monday. The GI doctor has me on FOUR different medications aside from the stuff I normally take. I've been busy resting and trying to rebuild my strength along with trying to keep up with the med schedule. My ex has been tremendously helpful throughout this ordeal. I was approved for short-term disability. Thank Darwin I increased my contribution like 2 years ago because when I signed up I was making only like $40,000 and now I make more than double that. I see the doctor in a few days and it may be extended into long-term for another couple of weeks. We shall see. I'm fine with it as long as I get paid. I tried accupuncture yesterday and I thought it was cool. It didn't hurt at all. We did a guided meditation after she did the needles on everyone. After that she put these bead things in our ears. When you feel anxious you are supposed to press on both of them for like 4 seconds. I haven't tried that yet. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?
