First responders rescue an injured hiker at a state park

New York State Police Officers answered an emergency on Sunday March 8 at Harriman State Park when an injured hiker whose name and gender were not released to the public suffered an injury in the Lake Sebago area.
First responders with the Spring Hill Community Ambulance Corps who asked for help from the Sloatsburg Fire Department to reach the patient in muddy and slippery conditions due to melting snow,
The injured hiker was taken away from the area where the accident occurred and was taken by an ambulance to a local hospital.''

Glad he was rescued, but neither he nor anyone ever things about the fact that you shuld not go hiking alone.

It is always good when somebody in need can be helped, and rescued, in such dire circumstances, and the rescuers did well, as they seemed to have a tricky job to rescue the hiker

What is it these days with the gender etc of these rescued people not being confirmed George
Worse maybe is that we do not know the nature of the injury.
Anyway I suppose it's good that the person whose name and gender was not confirmed was rescued
