"Mother, Mother, I am...

...Sick. Call the doctor very quick." It has been two days that I have been under the weather. I caught a cold and was coughing all night long. I took some medicines, and it seems that they are not working. Since there is no one to attend to my nephew's needs. I need to keep moving and resting in between. I do not know about you guys. If I am sick, I always remember my lovely mother. She is always there to take good care of me when I am under the weather. Hence, I miss her for being sick. Do you miss someone or look for someone if you are sick? Image Credit: media4.giphy.com

Luckily Vin and I look after each other if we're sick. I feel for my single friend as she is on her own if she gets sick.

I was thinking if I really need a partner in life to take good care of me. But then, I realized that it can be done by my offspring, especially my younger sister.

@JudyEv Indeed. I am sure there will be one of my siblings who will take me in if I reach the senility stage.

@Shavkat I don't think you should take on a partner just ot have someone to take care of you.

I also have the same scenario. I was so sick and went back home to seek motherly care from my lovely mother. I think I am getting better now.

@Traceyjayne As of today, I think I am completely fine. It took a bit long to respond because I am loaded with so many things to deal with. Thank you for your concern.

Pretty and I check on each other when one of us doesn't feel well. I'm glad she's here with me.

I think you are lucky enough to have her in your life. My younger one does the same thing. However, it is replaceable how mums take good care of their offspring.

Moms can always make it better no matter how old we get.

My mother and my father both are alive and I live with them. Both are over 80. Now that I'm married, my wife looks after my needs. Apart from my parents, there are many others who loved me and took care of me when I was a child. All of them are no more.

I am glad that you can reach your mom when feeling under the weather. As for me, I just pray and ask for her guidance, since she is in heaven now.

I am used to be one for so many years now. Even if I am longing for my mom's presence, I can still manage to recuperate from being sick.
