8 days until spring. This weather is nuts....more nutty than usual. One day we are in the high 60s; and one or two days later it's in the teens. I wonder what the summer will be like.
My blood samples have been received at Exact Sciences (CancerGuard); and I should have the results in 2 weeks.
Now cousin #2 has discovered an inexpensive Mexican restaurant with outstanding food. She calls me every day to share her discoveries.
Breakfast - Granola bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Chicken Marsala, rice, mixed veggies, broccoli, grapes
Dessert/Snack - Nature's Bakery Brownie, low salt nuts
Dinner - Turkey/vegan cheese sandwich, veggie straws, cherries

It's going to be in the teens next week. I'm tired of the cold.

I had a great day yesterday, I only worked a half day, and then Ron picked me up with the girls, who were so excited to see me.
Since we were at our son's place until he finished working at 5, we picked up a panzerotti, stuffed with delicious pepperoni, fresh mushrooms, ham and cheese, and shared that for supper. There is actually 1/3 of it left for another meal.

@LindaOHio It was nice.
Every morning Grandpa takes them to the playgroup, and when they leave at 11:30, and get driving back home, they ask Grandpa if he will come here and pick me up. He always has to tell them no, and when they ask why, and they know the answer.....it is always that I have to work. Yesterday they were squealing with delight when I opened my door to get into the car. There were giggles and excited chatter coming from that backseat. You cannot help but to have your spirits lifted. And Harper is getting really clingy to me, Ron noticed it. I asked him why they ask him for me every day and he said that he thinks that their time at home and life as they know it, will be changing come September when they start school. Harper held my face yesterday in her hands and got very close to my face and looked at my eyes and talked so sweetly to me. She is maturing.

Back to the chicken taco for lunch (the salad was great, but I forgot the tomatillo sauce aggravates my GERD). Apples, applesauce, grilled cheese, oatmeal, and yogurt for dinner.

Our few days of beautiful weather are gone. We're back to winter with rain mixed with snow today. Nothing that is sticking but it's dreary and miserable.
I'm happy that cousin #2 is happy exploring and found an inexpensive Mexican restaurant. It should be interesting to see what else she finds on her adventures exploring.
Last night we had pasta with eggplant breaded and air fried.

Sounds like cousin 2 is having a ball. I winder how long it will last! Last night Ihad eggs with a variety if mix inns. and two English muffins Should have stopped at one..but so good!

Weather can really be crazy and unpredictable and so different from how it was when I was younger.
An inexpensive Mexican restaurant sounds great. Mexican restaurants here are pricey. I haven't found one that's inexpensive so far.

We're at 29F this morning but it's supposed to reach 57F this afternoon. I'm tired of the cold but think we'll get even more tired of the heat this coming summer.
I ate a chicken sandwich for breakfast yesterday, no lunch and had two barbecue chicken sandwiches for supper last night with some broccoli in cheese sauce. I ate red cherries and a mandarin orange for a snack.
