A lot can happen in a week

Josh Hanlon is a Australian Paralympic alpine skier. I don’t think he’s won any medals but that’s okay. He competes in ‘sitting slalom’ and ‘sitting giant slalom’.
As a young(er) man, he seemed destined for a career in Australian Rules Football.
When he was 20, a severe bacterial infection caused toxic shock and sepsis. He became sick on a Friday and was in a coma by Tuesday. Both lower legs were amputated and he lost his right hand.
Can you imagine being fit and healthy one day and waking a week or two later to find yourself with bits missing?
The photo is mine taken in France.

That tells you just how uncertain and fragile life really is. I’m thankful he decided to continue with a career and plays in the Paralympic Games.

That would be horrible. I'm glad he has overcome his disability and is competing in sports.
Lovely picture.

That would be a huge shock. Especially at that young age.
