Yup. I'm reading a book about lobsters. I read it many years ago and remember liking it so I ordered it last year to reread it. I am just getting around to it now that I have lots of free time. The cover says "How Fishermen and Scientists Are Unraveling the Mysteries of Our Favorite Crustacean". It is really interesting. It mixes the science of lobsters along with the lives/techniques/challenges that lobstermen face. I know that it sounds boring as hell but it really isn't. My ex got a good laugh after seeing it yesterday. Honestly why would he expect anything less from this science nerd?

That doesn’t sound boring at all. I’d like to check it out myself.

@NJChicaa I will. I have a book on my shelf about fishing in Maine, and I remember enjoying that.

Maybe you can wrangle some facts into your class lessons when you get back to teaching.

That'd be a great title for a comic novel...

Now I want to read it. I have always been interested in the fishing industry. Dad moved us to Alaska when I was very young for a short time. He contracted to help rebuild some Alaskan boats that were mostly used for crab fishing. Anything with an engine, he wanted to fix it. It sounds like a great book.
