I have been facing this weird, funny ...umm I don't know how to describe it....someone keeps on connecting to my laptop when my bluetooth is on. It has happened 4 times this week. I am listening to reasoning and aptitude lectures...hope he/she enjoys them too
I just hope there's nothing fishy.
Goodnight from my end. I love you all
Cheers to a new week

Is there a way to block everybody but yourself from connecting to it?

@Dreamerby That maybe another reason. However keep your laptop protected and glad the problem is over.

I am yet to find that out. I turn off the bluetooth whenever this happens. Fortunately, it hasn't happened again. I think it was a slip on that bluetooth user's part.

Not really. But it hasn't happened again. So I think it was a slip on that bluetooth user's part.

This happened to me too a few years back. Later I came to know that it was my neighbour. He was boasting about it.

DE has given you the suggestion. I am not a techy person. But I would be concerned with such weird thing happening. Too many scams going around and any such things feel fishy to me.
Have a good week

You should be able to go to your Bluetooth settings and block the person. I hope there is nothing fishy, either!

You can fix that and I can tell you how, if you want.
Go into Bluetooth settings and check "paired devices" and remove any that you don't want to have access. You can enable "Require PIN" or "Authentication" to stop unauthorized pairing.
Maybe it's your roommate checking to see what you're listening to?
Goodnight. Love you, too.

@Dreamerby You're very welcome. I'm glad you successfully removed the "foreign" device.
You should ask if she enjoyed the lectures.

I don't know if there is any harm in it or not, or I wouldn't like someone connecting on my devices.
