3 days until spring. We have s**w on the ground today. Bummer.
Happy St. Patrick's Day. Will you be celebrating today?
Sorry I'm so late. I was tired and was vegetating.
There was a thunderous boom about 9 am and a fireball in the sky, visible to those in NE Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. It is thought to be caused by a meteor.
Thank you to all of you that sent cards or messages on my birthday. You have no idea how special you are to me.
I enjoyed all the goodies that were in my grocery order -- jelly beans, nuts, cake and prosciutto.
What's with the changes to Pixabay? You can't just copy a free photo anymore.
Breakfast - Granola bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Ham, scalloped potatoes, mixed veggies, cornbread
Dessert/Snacks - cake, jelly beans, nuts (I was so bad.)
Dinner - Prosciutto sandwich, sweet potato chips, cherries

@LindaOHio That’s really great. Hubs and I are still a bit lagging due to the vast quantity of food we ate over the weekend.

Happy Belated Birthday. 
You scalloped potatoes sound delicious, I love potatoes prepared that way best of all.
Yesterday I had soup for lunch and a banana and fish and chips and cucumber slices for supper.
Tonight is (bunless) burger night with beans on the side.

I'm on the eastern end of PA so I didn't see or hear about the fireball. Sounds scary.
Hope you enjoyed your birthday 
cake and jelly beans certainly sounds like a treat.
We had a terrible night last night with the wind, thunderstorms and tornado warnings. I was so happy we didn't lose power or had any damage. Hopefully spring will bring us some really nice weather.

@LindaOHio I saw that it was indeed a huge meteor but between the wind and the boom I'm not surprised you didn't hear it or if you did just assumed it was the wind. The vents in my bathrooms bang when it's really windy outside as it gusts through the attic.

@Marilynda1225 This has been the windiest season that I can remember. Gale force wind warnings every week it seems. Now they're saying it was an asteroid.

J was here for a couple of hours so at least I had some company.
I may have missed the boom because it was so windy the louvers were banging in the attic. One of those bangs could have been the meteor! lol
I'm glad you're safe and sound. I hope the weather improves for you.

If I heard the boom, I would have thought that it was another earthquake. The louvers in the attic were banging so much I might have missed the boom.

It was confirmed to be a meteor on what I read. I didn’t hear anything here. I didn’t hear about the fireball being seen but I did hear about the boom.
Wow I’m happy to hear spring is almost near. By Sunday it will be 57° I am looking forward to that.
