It's A Balancing Act / myLot

Happy Tuesday Everyone! I can't believe it's after 4pm and this is the first opportunity I've had to pop on here and say hi. I'm all nice and comfy in my recliner with the dog between my legs, the heating pad over my knees and my laptop on my sofa pillow so it's sturdy. The dog is very happy to have the warmth of the heating pad (it's on low) and I think she is more in love with that than me

It's definitely a balancing act. The day was full of interruptions. I finally got my grandsons birthday card written out and will put that in the mail tomorrow with a skein of yarn that I sold. Thankfully it can all go out in my mailbox and won't require a trip to the post office. My oldest daughter is sick so there's no girls club tonight.

Tonight we're having an easy dinner. Sausage, peppers, onions and red potatoes roasted. I was looking for something good but didn't' require a lot of prep work. That's my day in a nutshell. How's your day been?

I'm sorry that your daughter is under the weather. I just facetimed with my hubs at our son's place, and Willow isn't feeling the greatest either, she is coming down with a cold. She looked like it hurt to swallow, and she was pale, I told Grandpa that I just wanted to pick her up and cuddle with her, but then I'd get it too. And then across the room was Harper. Fine as Harper always is. She was just sitting on the floor with her lego blocks and the book that came with the last set-choosing something else to build. That one is going to be an engineer I think.

@Marilynda1225 Its too cold for Nanny to go outside and go to their house today. Harper has one of those memories where they can recall everything perfectly. Just show her once how to do something, and she will not need to ask again. She loves to look at a picture and draw it or look at something from her Leo book and put the pieces together to make it. I made some chocolate butterflies from some orange and blue chocolate wafers that I had. Willow told me that the butterflies were in fact not chocolate as they were the wrong colour-what kind of a kid says that?

Poor Willow not feeling well. There's been so much sickness going around and you certainly don't want it even if it means you have to forego those cuddles. Hope your hubby doesn't get it. Harper is a trooper. It would be funny if she did turn out to be an engineer,

I’m sorry to hear your daughter is sick. I hope she recovers soon. I didn’t sleep last night so I got a nice, long nap today. Of course, Sadie slept just fine.

It's 10:23 A.M. My day started early. I was able to read a few pages of my book while cooking breakfast. I've just finished preparing my visual aids for my classes later. And, now I am here- checking on discussions and sending hugs to your daughter who is sick now. I am sure she'll be up and about very soon.
