Have you ever invited someone you know to Mylot?

I have asked exactly 1 person, and she never joined. I don't think that the whole idea of conversing with 'strangers' appealed to her. Although its not for everyone, I like it here. Right now I am more in a reading mode than a posting mode, but one day I will come up with a thought that I'd love to share and post, but until then I just read and comments and enjoy.

Nope, none I personally know and friends with or relatives because they don't have the time nor the interest. They're just not interested in discussing anything with people they don't know or they have no interest in staring something for discussion. But recently, like I mentioned to another mylotter yesterday, I have replied to someone on thread asking what to do on your spare time and I answered mylot. And because of that, someone saw it and joined mylot.

Yes, several people and a lot of them joined and slowly withdrew from the site over the last 11 years

I'm the same as you. I like the 'anonymity' of the site. I don't want my friends/famiy reading what I'm writing about, not that any of it would bother them. It's my safe place too and I can rant or vent here if I want to which I wouldn't do if I thought a family member/friend would read it.

I have NOT. Like you said, I need this space to vent. I had someone find me on here once and that's why I've changed usernames several times.

No. This is my personal place, like you. My family and a couple of friends know it as my writing site.
