Australia, like every other country, has some unique species of birds. There are six species of corellas or white cockatoos. Two of the species, the Little Corella (Cacatua sanguinea) and Long-billed Corella (C. tenuirostris), have been introduced into south-western Western Australia and are creating havoc through their destructive habits.
In the city of Bunbury, south of Perth, they are damaging lights by chewing through the cables, destroying trees and synthetic turf, and chewing the rubber sealing on windows. They have become accustomed to scare tactics in the form of loud noises and nothing seems to deter them. They are also extremely noisy.
The photo was taken at Payne’s Find, well to the north of Perth but they’re a nuisance up there as well.

At first I thought those were flowering blooms on the tree. Wow!

Thanks. They are very noisy birds. I hope we never get them in those numbers here.

Just now
So that means the experiment failed badly !
Well, somehow this situation seems very serious.
I wonder what can be done now.
Catching so many of such birds would be very tough as well.
