Hubby got to have the joy of driving me around town today 
. But the shopping is finished. Glad that is done for a couple of weeks. And I can relax the rest of the day.
This appointment was to schedule a colonoscopy as my cologaurd came back positive. But I looked up the things that can cause a false report and hemorrhoids is one of those. I think I might be getting those as I sometimes itch really bad in that area. But we will know for sure in a couple of weeks. I have my yucky stuff already here that I will have to drink.
I don't plan to do very much the rest of the day. I do need to go feed the chickens again yet this afternoon. So I will bundle up and do that.

This is the first year I’m supposed to have a colonoscopy, and zI’m going to do the Cologuard. Mostly because I don’t think I can keep that liquid stuff down. I have a tendency these days to throw up bad tasting things.

The liquids you drink are flavored water with stuff added to them. They didn't taste bad.

@AmbiePam The package they sell you for the test comes with three or four different flavors. I remember pineapple, grape and something blue that tasted kind of like cherries and raspberries mixed together. You throw the unused packets away.

Hey, you can mix the yucky stuff with any clear liquid including Sprite and Vodka.

I hated having a colonoscopy several years ago. I swear, even with the numbing stuff, I still felt it. Then the oncologist decided to take a chunk out of my backside to test for cancer and it took several weeks for that to heal up.
I just took their Cologuard test last Wednesday but we haven't heard back on it yet.

@wolfgirl569 Mine is still hanging on the mailbox out front. We haven't gotten any mail this week so I guess the mail carrier only picks it up when they drop something off here. I still can't see well enough to drive it to the Post Office.

I am hoping I don't feel it. Better to get that tested at least.
You should be hearing soon. But was showing on my health page the next Tuesday and I dropped it to be mailed on a Thursday

Itchy, in that area, me too if I've got the right area but I thought it was the new fabric softener.

You should do the cologaurd at least. Then go from there to be safe.

My best friend did the colorguard twice and both times it was positive. She did have one polyp. No cancer. Hopefully it's the same with you. I don't envy you having to drink that stuff!
