I wanted to get here yesterday, but my writing called me through the day. I'm here now and will interact with you before I start writing again. I just finished with More Than a Conqueror. I'm at a place where I need to think about what comes next. It's the perfect time for me to move back to Wilderness Cry. I also wanted to be here yesterday to wish you all a Happy St. Patrick's Day. I wore my green, as you can see in the picture, and had corned beef and cabbage. I'm having leftovers today. My neighbor and I went out for a few minutes. We were going to go shopping and to a book store where she has a book on reserve for her, but with the roads the way they are after the 26.6 inches of snow we got, they still aren't in the best shape, so we'll leave that for another day. We stopped instead at her favorite grocery store. She wanted soup from the deli. They had it. I picked up a bag of apples. I want you to know I haven't had a banana since the beginning of January when I had my last one and haven't bought any since. Now, it's apples with almond butter. The flag on my table is starting to show under the two feet of snow on the tabletop. The huge mound of snow on my grill is also smaller as the grill has come into view. The patio itself has at least a foot of snow in places. Yes, I'm happy with the snowfall. We haven't had this much snow at one time in a very long time. The weatherman called it historic. The highest totals I saw for my area was 27 inches. We got 26.6. Okay, that's what's happening here. How are things in your area? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

Sounds like a busy time. That is a lot of snow...way too much! But I know you enjoy your snow. Not much here, just trying to get over being sick. Probably just a cold.

@just4him It is okay, glad the fever part is over...but the cough is annoying. Glad the snow makes you happy. I am just glad we haven't even seen that much snow in total all winter lol. Maybe 6 inches at most. We've had a weird warm season, today it is supposed to be 75 degrees...80 tomorrow.

Why did you give up bananas?

I gave them up because of the fruit flies they produced the moment I got them in the house. Enough was enough. I don't even miss them.

I’m glad to hear you gave up the bananas. The sugar content is just crazy, and I know you are really health conscious.

No snow, Thank God but we did have big winds on Monday evening which took down a lot of trees.

I like your outfit. It looks warm. We're at 65F this afternoon with a partly cloudy sky. I stepped out on the front porch for a minute and enjoyed the sunshine. I've been hearing lawnmowers running all around our neighborhood. (Some guy was riding his mower to the gas station and ran out of gas right in front of our house. He pushed it the rest of the way to the gas station half a block away.)
